Throughout October, we’re celebrating Residents Rights Month. It’s a time for all of us to reflect on ways to advocate for our loved ones in care facilities. Looking for more resources? It’s essential to know a resident’s legal rights; all group home residents in Arizona have rights and protections under the law. Learn the questions you should be asking when moving a loved one into a care home.
This year’s theme from advocacy group Consumer Voice, “Amplify Our Voices,” centers on cultivating a sense of community among long-term care residents, encouraging them to collectively raise their voices, share their experiences, and advocate for their rights.
Join the effort this October to provide support and contribute to promoting community awareness about the vital significance of Residents’ Rights.
